Would you like your final ride to be in one of the most luxurious cars you can currently buy?

Italian company Biemme Special Cars has taken a Rolls-Royce Ghost and converted it into an ultra-luxurious hearse it refers to as the ‘Ghoster‘.

The Rolls-Royce Ghoster hearse is virtually identical to the regular sedan from the front until the top of the windscreen. The iconic rear-hinging second-row doors are also retained.

Where this design of this hearse starts to divulge from the regular car is the wheelbase extension so there’s space for a coffin compartment. The roof has also dramatically lifted to create an almost shooting brake-like silhouette.

In the passenger compartment the Ghoster comes equipped with Briar wood accents, foldable tables, courtesy curtains, a refrigerator, air purification system, as well as an 18-speaker sound system.

Between the passenger and coffin compartments is a shatter-proof divider. There are also large side and rear windows that have a green tint.

Other features the coffin compartment receives includes an automatically lifting coffin platform, customisable LED lighting, as well as eco-leather and silk-screened wood accents.

The Rolls-Royce Ghoster hearse is powered by an unchanged 6.7-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 420kW of power and 850Nm of torque.

It’s unclear how much added weight this Ghost has received as part of the hearse conversion, however the regular sedan model can do the 0-100km/h sprint in a claimed 4.8 seconds.

Biemme Special Cars hasn’t noted how much its Ghoster hearse costs though it likely won’t be cheap. For context, the current Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase costs $744,400 before on-road costs and options in Australia.
